About The Mystery of the Masked Marauder

Kidnapping. Lies. Intrigue.... pets.

When 13 year old Nate discovers he can talk to animals - and they can talk to him - it opens up a whole new world of exploration and adventure for him and his trusty dog Basset.  His parents have moved him to a new town, but with his new-found abilities he meets some new friends: a gossiping overweight cat, a compulsive-liar weasel, and a hyperactive pug named Franklin.

But when neighborhood animals begin disappearing and a masked figure appears outside his bedroom window, it's up to Nate and Basset to get to the bottom of the mystery and save the neighborhood.

Can Nate (and the reader) solve the clues in time?
